"The universe is composed of stories..." Muriel Ruykeser
The Executive Summary
I write essays, salty op-ed pieces, short stories, and novels. I lean into tales of family (original and cobbled-together), forgiveness, fairy tales, and science (especially women in science).
My favorite stories are the ones that make me laugh, make me cry, surprise me. Preferably all three.
That's my goal when I write. For you, and for me.
The Latest
My upcoming novel chronicles a formal English butler stranded in the suburbs of Des Moines, Iowa, who reluctantly accepts a post in the home of a young mother of four-year-old twins.
